Held:
trauma-informed prenatal yoga
for real mums

This isn’t your typical prenatal yoga.

No pastel promises.
No “just breathe and you’ll be fine.”
No performance, pressure, or pretending.

Held is a trauma-aware, practical, and mother-first yoga space — created for women navigating the real emotional landscape of pregnancy. Whether you’re carrying grief, fear, anxiety, or just want somewhere quiet to exhale… you belong here.

The classes are designed to be started from 12/14 weeks.

I wanted this course to offer you different tools for your journey:

  • Relaxation and letting go are necessary when you are exhausted after a long day at work.

  • Activation and movement to wake up your body and move any anxious feelings

  • Breathwork for birth and postpartum  and beyond I still use it when I am afraid to fly or when I cannot sleep and I have practiced it through my c-section birth journey and those scary waiting room scans

  • Postures for good baby alignment and birth try and test all the options I offer and create your toolbox

Who it’s for:

  • Mums who’ve experienced miscarriage, traumatic birth, or fertility struggles

  • Anxious pregnant women who don’t resonate with the usual “positive vibes only” approach

  • Women who want to focus on their well-being — not birth plans or baby showers

  • Anyone craving grounded self-care without advice, pressure, or fluff

  • Busy mums, that need access on the go and shorter classes options

Practice a warm-up on all 4s with me

Yoga in Pregnancy course (from 12/14 weeks)

What you’ll experience:

  • Gentle, adaptable yoga to support your changing body

  • Nervous system-soothing breathwork — to help you feel calm and safe

  • Space to feel (no toxic positivity here)

  • Respect for your experience — however complex it may be

What this space is not:

  • It’s not about a perfect pregnancy or a magical mindset

  • It’s not a place for unsolicited advice or platitudes

  • It’s not about bypassing fear or grief — but moving with it, kindly

I will guide you through gentle yet effective poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques suitable for all experience levels.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, our classes are open to all expectant mothers seeking to cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner peace during this sacred time.

You will have 1 year to practice the classes again and again. The classes' length varies from 10 minutes to 1 hour, to suit different life styles.

After 2025, the course will be updated, and the price will likely increase too.

Bonus 1: You will receive a free recorded bonus class of Yoga on the Swiss ball

Bonus 2: Yoga minis (10-20 minute classes) to keep the practice going when you have little time.

Why practice with me?

I have been there where you are, managing worry, and anxiety and navigating a birth that did not go my way, infertility and miscarriage.

I love yoga and it has been invaluable in my journey, but I struggled to find relatable teachers, that focused more on the practice and less on the advice. This is why I created this course.

  • Trauma-informed

  • Calm, safe, honest

  • Mother-centric, not birth-outcome focused

  • Grounded support > glittery affirmations

  • “Come as you are” energy

⚠️ A gentle note:

Before starting any new movement practice during pregnancy, please check in with your midwife or healthcare provider to ensure it's safe for you.

If you’re currently experiencing high levels of anxiety, flashbacks, or distress connected to past birth or pregnancy experiences, please know you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.

Held is here to support your nervous system and emotional well-being, but it’s not a substitute for therapy or mental health care. Please seek professional help if you need deeper support — it’s a powerful and courageous step.

If you’re not sure what kind of support you need, feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to signpost you to someone who can help.
