Mothercircle is a meet-up for mothers based on the work of the author and somatic practitioner Kimberly Ann Johnson and was designed to support and validate pregnant women*, new mothers, people that birth, or people that support mothers in that threshold that is motherhood.

We are students and we are leaders.
We joined together from all over the world to show that together, we are better.
Discover all our credentials, bios and booking details here.
We meet in living rooms, coffee shops, online and businesses worldwide, integrating the often invisible parts of the mothering journey.
We are taking the connection deeper, and making it ceremonial and sacred.
Feel seen, supported.
acknowledge your change and growth,, together
We are practising wisdom around birth and sex and money and worth, and living deeply from our values. And it’s touching every part of our lives, filtering into our work, our relationships and our mothering.
We are courageously navigating our rites of passage and bringing back the wisdom for our communities.
We know we are not meant to do this alone, and we know that concentric circles of mothers supporting mothers is the answer. Women's meeting is not new news. We have now evidence that these meetings can impact positively our mental health.
This will have ripple effects on your life and the life of people around you.
Together, we build MotherCulture.
The sessions are facilitated by me, Aurora, a pregnancy yoga teacher and mental health first aider. I will introduce the theme of the session and facilitate discussion.
The container is set but the content is uniquely ours, and likely to be different with every circle we join.
You will be witnessed, given space to share, and mirrored. We won't give you advice, compare or judge you.
We will start by settling in with some gentle movement, meditation or breathwork.
We will then introduce the topic of the day and spend some time journalling and sharing in small circles. We will then rejoin the circle to share or listen to what comes up to others.
These are the 8 classes' themes:
MotherDive Let's use an ancient myth and storytelling to define what an initiation journey or the heroine journey is.
Mother. Entering motherhood is an underworld journey often not seen and recognized by the outer world. Learn the arc of this journey, the tools to be present to it, and be witnessed as you locate yourself within it.
Mothercycle Cycles are everywhere, yet we have been told to ignore them. Awareness of our cyclical nature can help us align with our innate wisdom as mothers.. Explore how being in rhythm with the cycles in and around us gives us more access to our wholeness and our power.
MotherBody Learn how to support yourself and others through the postpartum period. Everything a new baby needs, a new mother also needs. Learn a powerful framework for assessing your physical and emotional wellness, and how to tend to what’s needed in your body no matter where you are at in your motherhood journey.
MotherJaguar This class is where we start exploring somatric experiencing tools for women. The predator - prey dynamic is present in our experience of birth and motherhood. Explore how this awareness and understanding of your nervous system can impact your everyday life and mothering.
MotherBirth A subtle but powerful practice we will do together to explore experiences from your birth/s. Birth is an initiatory experience that fundamentally changes us. We’ll explore ways to access and share this experience that locates the wisdom that it has to offer for our motherhood journeys.
MotherLover There is often a split between being a mother and being sexual. Learn how to connect with your ever changing sexuality as a mother and become more at home in your body and your sexuality.
MotherWorth Where do you find your worth? Motherhood changes how we relate to our work in the world. Explore the relationship between your worth and your value and anchor the things that nurture your worth as part of your mothering practice.
MotherCode Let's steer our mothering boat in the direction that feels good for us. We have a powerful opportunity to imagine the legacy we’d like to leave. We are shaped by our motherline and the mothers around us, and we can choose what we want to carry forward. Together we’ll identify the values that we want to guide our mothering and shape our lineage.
Mothercircle is an inclusive project that welcomes all mothers, people who have given birth and people who support mothers (yoga teachers, doulas, midwives) and creates a space for people to listen, share and support each other.
No prior experience is needed, and all are welcome. Babies are welcome to come along, but no activity will be tailored to them.
Please click here to register for our ONLINE (on ZOOM) evening Mothercircle on Sundays at 18:00 BST from the 26th of October for 8 consecutive weeks.
Join a group of mothers from all over the world, we need to be in circles niow more than ever.
The investment will be 170 GBP for the whole 8 classes (that's around 21 GBP per class; payment will be in dollars).
Be part of the change, be part of the real self-care.
Common Questions & Concerns
➡️ What if I can’t attend every session?
Each circle is complete in itself while also part of the wider journey. If you miss one, you’ll still feel supported and connected.
➡️ Do I have to share in the group?
Not at all. Sharing is always an invitation, never an obligation. Simply being present and listening is more than enough.
➡️ Can I bring my baby?
Yes — babies are welcome. You’re free to feed, cuddle, or comfort them as needed. No apologies necessary.
➡️ I’ve never done yoga, meditation, or journaling before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. No experience is required. Each practice is guided gently and step by step.
➡️ What if it feels overwhelming?
Mothercircle is designed to nourish, not exhaust. Sessions weave together soft movement, calming breath, reflection, and deep rest — always at your own pace.
➡️ What if the cost feels like too much?
We understand that investing in yourself can feel like a big step. Each session works out to less than the price of a one-to-one class, but with the added value of community support, expert guidance, and practices you’ll carry with you long after the circle ends.
